Flat Plans

These are the first draft flat plans for my Billboard, and my magazine. I am using a similar geometric design for all of my products to help brand my magazine. The geometric design allows me to fit more images into my magazine while keeping it neat and modern. The front cover uses lots of the codes and conventions found on regional magazines, particularly ones with the genre of baking and food and drink. The double page spread is simple but includes a lot of images and writing. The double page spread strongly links with the Billboard design with its geometric layout. For these pages the images will be clearly linked to the article because of their positioning on the page. This layout is easy to read and understand so the audience will be attracted to the page. The colours of the triangles on each page will fit with the colour scheme I have chosen. Using triangles to show colour is more pleasing to the eye and will relax the readers more.
