Billboard Process
Here are some photos of the creation of my Billboard. To create my Billboard, I am using photoshop on a MAC. I am following the flat plan that features in my Rationales powerpoint earlier on the blog. I started by covering the whole page in the checkerboard pattern that you can see clearly in the first photo. I then deleted some squares to create the larger 3 squares you can see in each image. Once I had the basic layout that I wanted, I started to change the colours of half of the small squares. I matched the colours to the colour scheme which can again be found in the rationales powerpoint. I proceeded to change half the colours after picking the four colours I decided to use, making sure that no two of the same colours were next to each other. After this was done, I created the brand logo by finding the fonts I was going to use, and putting them in the while square that I wanted to use. One the fonts that I picked for the logo was no longer available for me to use so I looked on Microsoft word for the most similar font to the one I was originally going to use. After this I started to add the images from my photoshoot onto the other half of the squares that were originally grey. You can see the process through these images. The last image is not the final image of my product. As you can see, some images still needed to be aded in the same way as the others, and some more information has to be added, which can be seen on the final flat plan.
