Taxi Driver Colour Palette

This is the colour palette for a scene in the Martin S film ‘Taxi Driver’. The film contains violence and lots of blood which is strongly represented through the red and black in this scene. The film also contains passion and love, which again is represented in this scene with the bright red theatre chairs. Red is an intense colour which matches the intense feel of the film. The red represents danger and fear, which a lot of the characters feel in the film as well as the audience because of the use of colour particularly in this scene. The red shows dominance and power which the main character Travis Bickle feels he has in this scene of the film. This colour palette helps with making and planning my products by showing how colours show representation in the media. This helps with picking the colours for my products as I have more knowledge on colour representation.
